That is what happened to mine. Check the firmware in the app. It probably is good. To be safe I downgraded and then reinstalled.

The last update my RC would not show that it needed an update. The firmware on the about screen showed the old firmware with a plus next to it. I wonder if I delete the app and reinstall if then I could update the RC.

I think it is not showing a RC update because it is not displaying the aircraft update correctly.
