just loaded the app now, app version 2.7.1 controller version 1.5.70 and aircraft version 1.4.10+
do i just update to the latest firmware on everything or do i have to do step by step update on the aircraft and battery
also updating the controller do i just do it through the app?

i get to about the same range as the re500
the video gets real choppy and laggy and then it breaks connection
any suggestions why this might be?
yeah i have got the re700, its got the foam copper sheet thing over it

ive gone back to my re500 now anyways, ive drilled a second hole in it and now i have a tp link 8dbi omni antenna and a 6.5 turn 12dbi helical antenna so ill take that out and test it whe the weather is decent enough.
ill keep the re700 and ill try testing it in...
i tested it out and i did not get any additional range out of it
with the re500 i got round bout 800ft
i added the external helical antenna to the re500 and have gotten 2000ft
with the re700 i got to 750ft and the video began to get real laggy

hey, just wondering whats the best way and things to use to clean the contacts in the phantom that the battery connects too
noticed some black markings starting to appear now from sliding the battery on and off the connectors so i want to clean them off to avoid any sudden power loss while in...
so i hear to store the batteries they shud be kept at around 50%
but my question is how do u check it cause all u have to go on is the green lights
i know 2 solid lit lights means about 50% but is there any other way of checking?
