NSW and QLD are definite no fly zones without permission. I’d agree with nesting season too but commonsense isn’t something you find in government these days [emoji12] and shhhhh. Bathurst [emoji6]

The app states where CASA say you can fly. National parks are controlled by state governments and none of them let you fly over them (Qld requires a permit), NSW you can ask (I did) but you’re pretty much guaranteed to get a flat no.

Oh I haven't used it for my drone. We use it in work for demonstrations walking around an auditorium etc. I wouldn't expect it to interfere with the drone as the Apple wifi runs on 5.8ghz usually. But I've never had the mac or iPhone/iPad lock up as per your post.

Been using airserver for years at work. Never heard or seen that issue. I'd be hitting up their support.

It's just the next place you are flying at. Basically it's so CASA know who it was if someone complains OR something goes wrong on that first flight. I spent an hour on the phone with them about this, it's pretty basic and not complicated at all. No need to list every place you *may* fly at in...

Awesome video. When I tried to do similar at the beach with my P4 it constantly tried to suck itself into the water. It almost required full up stick to stop it crashing. Did you turn the downward sensors off ?

Did you use a genuine Apple lightning cable or third party ?
