    Lightroom CS & P4P RAW severely over-exposed

I don't have the time today but what I discovered is the proper exposure only occurs if I shoot bracket OR a burst. Both raw and JPEG are properly exposed in either case. Only if I shoot single are the pics (as it turns out, raw and jpeg - or raw only, or jpeg only) are like 10 stops...

    Why so many range discrepancies?

It can even matter what direction you are facing. I tried taking off near my apartment in 5.8 mode (all the apartments are saturated with 2,4). Facing away from the building I got around 4000 feet distance. Turned even slightly towards the building I got 3000 feet. (The area is semi-rural). I am...

    Lightroom CS & P4P RAW severely over-exposed

Hey guys. AM I missing something? Any stills I take with my P4P in RAW mode brought into Lightroom are way overexposed (they look fine on the phone). They are actually unusable, but for some reason the JPEGs are fine? Never seen this before. Any ideas why? I am using the latest Lightroom.

    Let This Be a Warning

This is good advice. The OA can't sense, say, a small branch . Especially while landing. The OA is great though for things like RTH and tapfly and tripod mode. It's certainly better than nothing. But it is not a substitute for careful flying. More like a safety net (and nets have holes)

Is anyone actually happy with their P4P??

I have had the Phantom 1 & 2, and the Inspire 1 (original and X5 upgrade), and now the Mavic and the P4P. I skipped the P4 and P3. I sold the Inspire mostly because it was a PITA to carry around and use. For my purposes (fun/hobby, or quick shots for jobs... when I get certified or for people I...

Zenmuse H3-3D 3-axis GoPro gimbal announced

The H3-3D is integrated with its mount. So I'm talking about the gimbal, I'm talking about it's mount. The only way I was able to remove jello was to add an ND filter and counterbalance that. I just tested it yesterday and all looked great. What is unknown is how this will affect the gimbal...

Zenmuse H3-3D 3-axis GoPro gimbal announced

Sorry I haven't been on this board in a while. I can't say I have had good experience with the H3-3D. I am about to throw it in the ocean. Some days, I will get some great footage... for half the trip. Other days, it will be great most of the time - but not all. Inevitably I will see jello on...

    Phantom2 + H3-3D Power Filter Board

They posted in the RC groups forum. It is to remove interference on the FPV feed. I have a lot of that very interference with this gimbal, so this makes sense. It does not remove Jell-O, DJI maintains that is a stability issue because of a number of factors including the dampening selection and...

DJI's new restricted areas are arbitrary.

Today, DJI re posted the version 2.0 firmware as an option on their website. Who knows how long it will last.

DJI H3-3D power filter board= Jello fixer

PS These posts showing "fixed" jello with the board installed, actually still show some minor jello. You can really only see it on a large screen, but it's still there. I think this gimbal is just prone to it.

DJI H3-3D power filter board= Jello fixer

DJI is stating the board is to fix FPV interference (which I indeed get a lot of). Specifically, horizontal lines in the output. I don't think it has anything to do with the jello, which seems to trace down to: a) the yaw motor hitting the battery b) the washers and anti drop pins being...

    Firmware 3.0 & Assistant Software 3.0 ??

Re: New Gimbal Functions? That's too bad. It definitely works on the H3-3D.

    Firmware 3.0 & Assistant Software 3.0 ??

Assistant 2.0 downloads FW 3.0 for me. If you don't connect to the network, it says it can't upgrade anything. I am using the H3-3D on FW 2.0 now but keep in mind, the tilt of the gimbal is pretty limited without FW 3.0.
