I've not updated in a while but I remember that I would start my P$P and controller, they would like and my Iphone or Ipad would allow me to check. Once there was an update I would have to attach my phone to the P$P and it would update. It is pretty easy. I may be wrong?

I purchased this Phantom 3 pro drone from a person that stated he had a rough landing and that it rip off the gimbal. The drone body had a few cracks so I installed a new body. When I when to startup I received an error that the software need to be updated and it would not allow me to proceed...

I have followed the instruction outlining downgrading the AC FW and RC FW to 1.7.6 and 1.5.8 respectively. I still receive either a no start motor or the error obstructed motor. I have purchased two motors and exchanged without improvement.
