It took 3 days to film. Over 6 hours of video recording, so a lot of battery charges (i have 4 batteries). I used the phantom 2 vision+.
I got permission from both the general contractor and the crane subcontractor. Really fun flight.
I just put together this crane erection video for a crane company in North Texas. Its a little long cause it is every piece of the crane being lifted up. But pretty cool views of Dallas.

Thank You! I think I watched enough videos that when I finally got mine I was mentally ready to fly it. Hopefully I can continue to hone in my skills. its an addicting hobby.

also, when you plug in your phantom +, or the power is just on, make sure the gimbal lock block is OFF... it will heat up quickly and make a weird noise if you dont.

What i figured out is that when you plug in the phantom to your computer and power it on, you also have to turn on your controller and wifi extender so that you can calibrate it. I had been plugging it straight into the controller to try to calibrate... didnt work.
