    Hey, Nejkoy seems we keep responding to each other in different threads. :) My day job is a photographer. For my lenses I always prefer a coated filter. If it saves me from lens flare on even one vital shot then the minimal cost is worth it to me. I live on the coast so a polarizer is a must...

    I am no expert but I don't anticipate much of an issue. At most I'll add a small weight to the back side of the camera to make up for the 3 gram difference
