Isn't the purpose of the Litchi Leash to follow a person or other moving object. I would assume it does so by locking its camera onto the subject. If you were to move the camera gimbal to view something else you would lose the ability to follow your subject and end up with a problem.
The Litchi app is for IOS devices running IOS 8 and newer and is not device dependent. So it should work with your iPhone 5. Also, the Litchi app is not used with DJI GO. It is an independent stand alone operating system used instead of DJI GO. You should not run both apps simultaneously as they...
I neither have nor use Litchi so I will guess. Either the app will not allow use of a negative waypoint below level ground or, if it does, you can sell your Phantom for parts on eBay. Just my guess :-)
Nicely done. I'm always happy to hear of successful outcomes such as you described. It sure beats the heck out of posts wanting to know how high and far can I fly and how can I get around the regs.
Thanks all, I'll be purchasing the Litchi app. It seems only those who have problems of any kind tend to do all the posting leaving all the good/great experiences people have left unsaid.
I'm considering buying the Litchi App for use with my Phantom 3A, but have read of problems using it with the mini iPad 2. Users say the app cuts out for no apparent reason. Is there a known bug in the software and if so is there a work around? Any advice with the combo would be appreciated.
Just reinstalled the DJI GO app. No change. From the GO Home Page with RC off, I select Phantom 3 Advanced. As soon as I turn the controller on, the device changes to Phantom 4. There is no dropdown to change it back unless I either turn the power off or pull the display plug. All was fine until...
Trying to perform the latest update to my P3A. Aircraft update seemed to go ok, but not so on my controller. When I turn controller on and initiate the Go App (IOS), it says I have a Phantom 4. If I disconnect the display, I can change settings to P3A but as soon as I reconnect or turn...
Set your altitude limit at 45 and your distance limit at 85. I'll bet the Phantom will be more in line with your expectations. It doesn't matter that you've set your parameters in the app to imperial rather than metric. Distance and altitude will be displayed in meters, like it or not.
I've also set my display to read Imperial (feet) rather then metric (meters). However, my altitude and distance settings remain displayed in meters. Check your settings displaying distance/altitude parameters. You may see a small "m" indicating meters. Just trying to be helpful.
