You are right but as we were going there in straight line, like the RTH brings it back we should have seen it coming to us and also the signal should have been restored as always did all the other times I losted in previous flights. Unfortunately this was not the case :(.

No I was all the time on the screen as two friends of mine where looking directly at it till they could, about 1km far so then I was looking at it on the tablet continuously. Or maybe, after loosing signal, as the RTH function kicked in it turned back to home and at that point hitted a bird...
