I'm using my smart phone at the minute for the DJI GO app. Obviously it connects to the internet for data. But I have a spare 10 inch tablet with no sim card/data. So what would I loose using the tablet ? Just the maps in the left corner ?

Please reply what insurance you went with , I'd like some cover for my p3p and liability. Cool cool flying by the way. I really do think people get hung up on what is dangerous flying. I doubt everyone who drives sticks to exact speed limits etc

Well,first flight went well. Really enjoyed it. Played with camera but not worth posting lol. Only issue was, it topped out at just over 100 meters ! Not an issue for first flight but thought they went a lot higher than that ..... Do the nerves go away ? I was bricking it sending it more than...
