I have done heaps of flight tests with the marco polo switched on and off
( just the beakon that is strapped to the bird )
Every time it is switched off the fpv signal is perfect.
Every time it is on, the signal has a delay every 3-5 secs or so.
This only happens when the bird is out past the...
I think this is a good idea.
I was thinking the same for when I crash. Almost certain to end upside down.
There are wires running down all 4 legs. 1 has several wires, the others have 1 each What are these?

I brought the bird back an turned the marco polo off, everything was fine.
I have it zip tied to the leg with the most wires traveling down it.
Any suggestions...
I'm guessing that it was a difficult shot while the bird was on the move.
The OP said there were several shots BEFORE he stopped to hover and look around for the shooter. It was AFTER stopping that the drone was struck bu the bullet.

I have tried it a few times with some of our cattle,
It is a bit difficult to get adult cattle to work off the drone if they want to run the wrong way.
Its a bit like they can't see it when you get in front of them to block them. (Sometimes they will stop and other times not) It would work...
Yep , should be ok, just don't mix very much at once. 1 teaspoon full max.
I would use a syringe with a longer spout. Have 2 or three on hand in case it hardens in the syringe.
Suck it in when it is still runny. Use one syringe and mix a little bit of plast-aid to practice on something else...
