If you're going to buy a device, you might want to look at getting an Ipad, they pretty much work where it's hit and miss on what android device will work well. I've used android phones and tablets also a Crystal Sky and have had mixed results whereas the iPhones and Ipads unless there old work...
If I was in the market to buy a new one today I might choose the M2, but I'm not and I don't see enough reason to get rid of my tried and true P4P for the Mavic 2.

I’m another that the antenna broke off. It’s always been in a case and taken care of but none the less it broke. I’ll probably try and glue it as the wire didn’t break but will probably get a new one as my p3p is still in great shape
The only reason I'd think about upgrading from my P4P is because of the ocusync. I hardly ever use my goggles now because they fog up so bad here in Florida that that's not really a reason for me to upgrade.
I'm at about the one year mark. I didn't go at it to be a full time job as I have a full time job already, more to offset my hobby expenses. I've had to turn down a lot of work because I don't have the time during the week but I don't think I could have come close to being able to support myself...
I still have the original 2 sets, if I loose a pair I might try the new ones, but I still have the original pair on my P3P. You don't crash you don't break them
