And the Mavic isn't going to be limited by range (other than by EU transmission power rules) any time soon. Not unless the EU puts the range and height limits in to law (we're a long way from that yet) and puts the responsibility for the limits on the manufacturers.
There's a lot of tinfoil-hat...
What are you talking about? Of course it won't have the 50M and 150M restriction as they aren't even law yet. It's still at the proposal and consultation stage. The most they will do is put the usual EU/CAA restriction in place that are the same as in the Inspire and Phantom currently.
I didn't say it couldn't be done. I said that the law says you can't.
I can drive my car at 150mph on the M6 if I want but the law says I can't. Same thing.
You guys do release that by law in the UK (Air Navigation Order) you cannot fly beyond visual range (generally accepted to be 250M) and higher than 121M (400ft) anyway.

You can't de construct a video in to different tracks unless you have the original. The act of publishing the video in a container format such as mp3 or mkv strips all of the track identification out and renders it as you see it.
Re: Why is nobody talking about the Samsung Gear VR goggles
It will need someone to make an app that takes the video signal and distorts it so that it's viewable with the goggles. Same issue with the Oculus Rift. You can't just stick a video signal in to it and see anything useful as each eye...
He has an FC40 so 5.8GHz. Not an issue.
I'm not aware of people pushing the wifi range out with the GoPro. There's too much lag to be useful for FPV anyway.
I think it's the same with anything. If you read enough you will get the impression that every product is unreliable. No system is infallible.
I can only speak from my experience, and that is that the A2 has been faultless.
If you don't mind moving away from DJI then the XAircraft SuperX is...
