I could save them a fortune in research cost, drone gets into engine = not a good day for passengers? And according to the BBC report, if I take my camera off the drone I can fly over populated area's?

Glad I didn't try the follow me feature as it wouldn't work, I will have to rethink my tablet strategy.

Hi Chris - I use an 8" hipstreet that is connected purely to provide a screen to view what's going on, the phantom follows the RC and not the tablet so you don't need GPS on your tablet, not sure about the aeroplane mode. Somebody will correct me if I'm wrong?

Agree, its all about risk and criticality, depends on the environment you are operating in, guess the Phantom is a recreational item deigned for fun.
